6-year-old Bridger Walker is being hailed for his bravery on social media after he saved his sister from a dog attack in Wyoming, leaving him with 90 stitches across his face.
In an Instagram post that has earned millions of hearts, his aunt wrote that when he was asked about the incident, he said, "If someone was going to die, I thought it should be me.” Wow.

"On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog," she captioned the series of photos, including one showing his injured face. "After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe."
Among celebs who shared their admiration for Bridger were Anne Hathaway and Chris Evans, the latter of whom plays Captain America in Marvel's Avengers series. The group of superheroes was called on by Bridger's aunt with news of "this latest hero who joined their ranks."
Addressing the little dude through a video while he was wearing his own Captain America fit, Evans told him that he's a "hero" and "so selfless." As a reward, Evans also said that he'd be sending him an "authentic Captain America shield" for his courage.

"Keep being the man you are. We need people like you," he added. "Hang in there. I know recovery might be tough, but based on what I've seen, I don't think there's much that can slow you down." Evans then signed off with a salute.
