If you spend any time on the internet, then you've probably already heard of James Charles. The makeup guru's rise to fame all started with a $10 makeover. But, being in the spotlight revealed some scandals he never could have expected...
A Makeover For Just $10
Before he became the makeup legend he is today, James would style his friends for fun. “At one of my best friend’s hair appointments, she was late for her makeup appointment so she asked me to do it,” he said. I was like ‘OK girl, I’ll do it, but if it looks awful, do not tag me in that Instagram picture.'”
At only $10 a makeover, James took to Instagram to show the world his skill. “People loved it, so I invested in a starter set of makeup to practice on friends and slowly began to build clientele. It wasn’t until a few weeks after that I tried makeup on myself, and the rest was history!”
The YouTube Trial
James’ Instagram page was an instant success and his followers couldn't get enough. So, he decided to record full-length makeover tutorials to teach his followers how to create these beautiful looks. In 2015, he created a Youtube channel and of course, he was an instant hit on the platform.
Each video brought a steady increase in subscribers and James’ fanbase started to grow. Within a few days, he had hit a thousand followers. Although it seemed unbelievable, he felt ready for it. With little time to process, the teenager became an internet sensation.
Rubbing Shoulders In Hollywood
With his growing fanbase and supportive parents, there was no questioning his budding stardom. His channel gained more attention daily, and this fueled James’ desire to carve a niche for himself in the makeup industry. So, he reached out to several influencers and celebrities to expand his network.
In the early months of 2019, James had hit the peak of his career and his YouTube channel had over 16 million subscribers. His collaborations with influencers had paid off and brought him more followers, along with some cool cash. Soon, he had stars like Katy Perry and Kylie Jenner appearing in his videos.
Shutting Out The Haters
In 2016, James made history by becoming the first ‘CoverBoy’ of the CoverGirl’s magazine. “This has been the coolest experience of my life, and I am so honored and thankful to be able to start this new era of CoverGirl! I hope to inspire others to be confident in their own skin and love themselves with makeup or without.”
While he had many loyal fans, the internet can be brutal, and he had to learn how to cope with all the negativity. “I’m definitely not willing to let someone without anything better to do than hate on someone else behind a keyboard get into my head,” said James.
Pretty Cool And Beautiful
As the first male spokesperson for CoverGirl, James was a major selling point for a new product, So Lashy! “All of our COVERGIRLs are role models and boundary-breakers, fearlessly expressing themselves, standing up for what they believe, and redefining what it means to be beautiful,” stated a CoverGirl spokesperson in an interview with Seventeen Magazine.
“James Charles is no exception.” His newfound fame gave him the opportunity to work with stars like Sofia Vergara, Halle Bailey, and Katy Perry, who were all affiliated with the brand. “I’m so excited to announce I’m the first-ever male Covergirl,” said James. “The fact that I am the first boy is so cool.”
Carving A Niche
For James, it wasn’t enough to be the first CoverBoy, he wanted to build his own empire. He decided to start a personal makeup line and hit up the Morphe brand to create the James Charles eyeshadow palette. The product was a success and James launched a second palette with bigger plans in the works.
James wanted to launch his cosmetic brand last year but held off, saying, “I didn’t want to do it [before] because I didn’t have a solid concept.” So, James switched his focus to his YouTube channel, featuring makeovers of celebrities, and paving his journey to success.
Followers = Sisters
“I call my followers sisters because y’all are my family,” James said in a tweet. “It has no connotation to gender whatsoever, it’s a word it’s not that f***ing deep.” So, that explains why James has a tendency to call just about everyone in his life “sister,” no matter what gender or how old they are.
Due to his frequent use of the word “sisters”, it was only fitting for him to name his clothing line Sisters. Sisters Apparel was a brand created from scratch by James Charles. However, after his spat with Tati Westbrook, his business took a downward turn.
Linking Up With Tati
Before hitting it big, James had messaged Tati Westbrook, a popular beauty blogger, in a bid to collaborate. Her channel, GlamLifeGuru was well-known and she lent a supportive hand to him. The pair got close and Tati doubled as his friend and mentor, with James handling her wedding makeup.
The two featured in lots of videos and regarded each other as family. And so, when Tati branched into the production of beauty vitamins, she expected nothing less than a promotion of her products by James considering the fact that she had helped him grow initially.
The Drama with Tati Explained
Things took a turn for this beautiful duo when James started to promote SugarBearHair, a hair vitamin company that happened to be one of Tati’s biggest competitors. Of course, she was displeased and took to social media to express her disappointment in James.
Upon realizing the consequence of his actions, James issued an apology to Tati. However, she wasn’t ready to let things go. “He had nine days after Coachella to talk to me,” she said in a YouTube video. “He could’ve come face-to-face and chatted with me because he knew that this would hurt me.”
In Bed With The Enemy
“I feel really used,” Tati said after James supported a direct competitor of her brand, Halo Beauty. This led her to post a video titled “Bye Sisters” which signaled a huge change. In the vlog, she stated that “fame, power, and a fat bank account” had caused a change in James’ behavior.
“I don’t think there’s any getting through to you, and I don’t want to be friends with you,” she said. “I don’t want to be associated with you, and I need to say that very publicly so that chapter can be closed.” After mentoring James, Tati was hurt that this was his reaction.
Apology Rejected
In response to Tati’s “Bye Sisters” video, James posted an apology video on his YouTube channel, making mention of his relationship with the former and her husband. “I met Tati and James almost 3 years ago now, when I was first coming up into the industry and when I had no friends and nobody to talk to or look up to.”
“Tati very quickly took on a parental role with me because she knew my parents were across the country,” said James. “I hate knowing that I disappointed, not only them [the fans] but mostly two important people that have been role models to me,” he added.
Jeffree Took A Swipe
Jeffree Star, another YouTuber, and creator of Jeffree Star Cosmetics, was once a close friend of James, and they did quite a few collaborations together. However, on this issue, Star sided with Tati and took to social media to share his opinion.
“There is a reason that Nathan [Star’s boyfriend] banned James Charles from ever coming to our home again,” He said. “There’s a reason why I haven’t seen him since @GlamLifeGuru’s birthday in February. He is a danger to society. Everything Tati said is 100% true.”
Another Apology
After some time, James and Jeffree cut all professional and personal ties, causing Jeffree to post another apology online. This video was called “Never Doing This Again” and in it, Jeffree tendered an apology for meddling in the affair between Tati and James, as well as, making those claims.
“There’s a big part of the story that I don’t think a lot of people know and that’s behind the scenes,” he said. According to Jeffree, he was being told things that made his opinion of James falter which “was making me feel a whole other way.” He later apologized for letting other people influence their friendship.
Only The Likes Matter
“There are going to be a group of 13-year-old girls who go to school, and are like, ‘Did you guys unsubscribe from James? Same!”, said Logan Paul. “None of them would have a real answer. They’d repeat what they heard.” The reality is, Gen Z arguably have a strong influence over their peers.
As James’ actions hit the news and spread from one smartphone to another, lots of his followers were unfollowing and unsubscribing from his channel. Social media has helped celebrities form “close” relationships with their fans, so Tati’s followers were quick to turn on her newfound enemy.
The Follower Drop
As stated earlier, James gathered lots of following on social media in little time. However, after his fallout with Tati Westbrook, his follower count dropped faster than it had risen in previous years. Within days of Westbrook’s announcing the end of their friendship, James Charles had lost 2 million YouTube subscribers.
Whether Tati’s video was posted with the intention of turning fans against him or not, that was the direct consequence of her video. As a matter of fact, as James’ subscribers dropped, Tati’s grew, showing that fans were taking her side on the matter.
A Moment Of Instropection
Social media perception and the loss of likes and followers can really impact business and James learned this the hard way. “The fight affected both [business and mental health] for sure – everybody was talking about the fact that I lost three million subscribers,” he said.
“This put into perspective what really mattered to me,” James stated. “But this was an important moment for me, as awful as it was, to take a step back and realize what was important for me, which is friends, family, and my own personal happiness.” The experience spurred James to work even harder.
Ariana Grande Unfollowed Him
James’ first impression of Ariana Grande had him call her the “rudest celebrity” in a video he posted back in 2018 with Shane Dawson. Apparently, Ariana had called James backstage after a concert and the encounter had left the young man disenchanted.
James later realized that Ariana had also hit the unfollow button. He posted a question asking if he had offended her, to which she responded, “Hey babe, I saw a lot of angry tweets from my fans, and I would never want to disappoint them, so I unfollowed.” James went on to express his disappointment but Ariana never responded.
Major Misunderstanding
After watching one of Shawn Mendes’ Instagram lives, James started commenting on a few of his posts, and Mendes wasn’t sure about the meaning behind the comments. “That dude is commenting some weird sh** on my posts,” said Mendes at a album listening party.
News of this statement got to James and he took to his social media to clear the air. “I’ve been supporting @shawnmendes since vine & am a fan like anyone else, & would never want to make anyone uncomfortable.” Fortunately, Shawn wasn’t upset or uncomfortable and sent James a message to let him know.
The Kylie Inspiration
Throughout his constant run-ins and bust-ups with celebrities, one major star who stood by James was Kylie Jenner. The pair had kicked off their friendship back in 2018 when Kylie tweeted James for a collaboration as they were both young makeup experts.
The two recorded a video and James was awestruck by Jenner. “It was just really amazing to see someone else in this space working really hard and just making it at a young age,” he said. “She’s just a huge inspiration to me.” Their friendship stayed mainly professional until Kylie also hit the unfollow button.
Displeased Buyers
Although James’ beauty products were well received by customers and fans, a few people indicated that they may have suffered skin damage from using his products. This got James livid. A Twitter user uploaded a video back in 2018, claiming that James’ eye shadows had stained her eyelids and caused a breakout.
“You should never, ever, ever try to promote a product that does this to another human being,” the Twitter user had said. In response, James tweeted: “You accusing me of lying to fans & not caring about people is a ridiculous cry for attention. If you have hives, consult your dermatologist, not me for likes on Twitter.”
Katy Perry Withdrew Her Endorsement
One of the major figures that stood by James when he began his makeup career was Katy Perry. The celebrity was also affiliated with CoverGirl as a spokesperson and made public her excitement when James Charles was signed on as the brand’s first CoverBoy.
However, after James’ fight with Tati, Katy Perry was one of those who jumped ship. Although she never made a public statement on the issue, Katy Perry unfollowed James on social media and that spoke volumes in today’s world. She definitely wasn’t proud of the CoverBoy’s actions.
The Collaboration With Kesha
In December 2019, Kesha joined forces with James Charles for a promotional video for her beauty brand which broke down makeup basics. “I am very, very excited. I literally grew up listening to your music,” James said in the video, before proceeding to give the musician a makeover.
“There are so many different ways to use makeup that doesn’t have to be this perfect, super-femme, societal-approved thing,” Kesha said. “It’s more about expressing what I like, and what color I feel today.” The pair were definitely in agreement and bonded over similar views on makeup.
The Zoe Kravitz Issue
In a video posted on Tana Mongeau’s YouTube Channel, she and James teamed up to act as fashion police for celebrities. While roasting these stars, they criticized Zoe Kravitz’s outfit to the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, saying they couldn’t tell who she was. They scored her zero out of 10.
James had stated in the video that Zoe seemed like “She didn’t finish getting dressed.” However, he showed up to the 2019 Met Gala wearing something similar and fans were quick to notice. “Tana Mongeau and James Charles deserve literal jail time for not knowing Zoe Kravitz and giving her a zero,” tweeted a follower.
James Held A Wrong Opinion About Charli
Prior to his meeting with TikTok sensation Charlie D’Amelio, the latter admitted that she was skeptical of responding to James Charles’ messages. “I was scared of you,” she said on YouTube. “I’ve been watching you since I was like… for a very long time.”
“I was just really, really nervous and I didn’t know what to say because you were one of the first people to reach out and be like ‘Hey let’s collab,'” said D’Amelio. On the other hand, James felt hurt and rejected when his messages went ignored. Charli eventually replied and the pair made some great videos together.
Iggy Azalea Wasn’t Impressed
The Twitter user wasn’t the only one who complained about James’ makeup products. Hip hop star, Iggy Azalea stated that she, “Tried to use the @jamescharles palette on live today and it almost ended in tragedy! Buuuuut everyone pulled thru & just like that – a beauty guru has been born?”
The story later took a different turn as James got Iggy to feature in one of his videos after he “literally drove in a snowstorm seventeen million miles plus a flight… to do my makeup,” as she tweeted. This friendship didn’t last long, as just like the other celebrities before her, Iggy also unfollowed James.
Kim Kardashian Beauty Call
When the famous Kim Kardashian brand tweeted a casting call for females, Charles responded to the tweet, asking why men were excluded from the call. “Kim is a legend and personally one of my role models… but I think it’s only fair that other aspiring boys in beauty have the same opportunities,” he said.
It seems as though the two were able to move past this little hurdle as Kim appeared in a few of his vlogs. She even featured on James Beauty Battles alongside Mario Dedivanovic. However, Kim no longer follows Charles on social media for reasons that have not been revealed.
Slamming Lauren Conrad for Her Brand
Lauren Conrad, one of the first reality star turned influencers, recently launched her makeup brand, Lauren Conrad Beauty, and let’s just say James was not impressed. “I just opened a PR package from a new makeup brand from somebody who has no business having a makeup brand,” said James.
“Did James Charles just say Lauren Conrad has no business starting a makeup brand? The woman who invented winged eyeliner?” posted a Twitter user. One of Conrad’s employees sent a sample box of empty containers by mistake. Once James learned this, he apologized, claiming he’d tried to be funny, but his commentary came off “nasty.”.
The Surprising Jojo Makeover
JoJo Siwa’s one of the brightest, most vibrant influencers on social media, and this former Dance Moms star is obsessed with the image she’s created for herself. As a result, when she received multiple requests from James asking her for a makeover, she refused before finally agreeing.
“Obviously it’s not me… I showed up here in sparkles and bright pink and neon and rainbow,” she said afterward. Some fans were outraged and blamed James for taking away her signature look. “I said today’s collab was with someone I waited two years to work with & I was so excited for and now I’m getting death threats,” Charles shared.
James Charles’ Net Worth is $22 Million
With the many hiccups that have dotted his makeup career, you’d probably guess that James Charles’ net worth has grown a lot over the years. However, going by the Celebrity Net Worth reports, James Charles is currently worth a whopping $22 million.
This fortune is an accumulation of his CoverGirl deal, his apparel line, as well as the makeup products. Not to mention his massive following on YouTube which was the starting point of it all. Despite the loss of followers and reputation, James is undeniably a successful businessman.
Million Dollar Purchases
One of the perks of being an influencer is the steady income that usually comes with it, for James, that meant buying a house at 20. The mansion cost a cool $7 million and after he buying it in 2019, James still rennovated the entire property.
“After renting for the past few years, I officially bought my first home almost a year ago and have been renovating it ever since. It’s been such a huge journey, but today is moving day, and I can’t WAIT to show you guys the new sister headquarters," he said while flaunting his new home.
Idea Theft?
James was incredibly proud to launch his line, Sisters, but unfortunately, not everyone believed it was an entirely original brand. Ethan Klein, the co-founder of streetwear brand Teddy Fresh, tweeted, “I know we didn’t invent color blocking [sic], but I’m having a hard time w the new James Charles merch.”
“It’s the same exact design as Hila’s,” said Klein. “Combined with the fact that his audience is so huge, many people will assume he designed it and start accusing us of plagiarism. Responding to Klein’s allegations, James said, “I sent you the original photo that inspired my collection, explained I’ve never seen your brand.”
The Cancelled Sisters’ Tour
As his brand grew, James Charles decided to do a Sisters Tour. He was set to visit 24 cities, bringing with him “music and makeup and memories and games”. The idea of the tour had his fans thrilled and almost sold out. However, James announced the cancellation later in 2019.
“The Sisters Tour is not being canceled because I was ‘canceled,” said James. “I made the decision for a lot of different personal reasons. Right now, I just don’t feel like I can deliver what was promised.” According to James, the cancellation had nothing to do with his multiple celebrity fallouts.
$500 Meet & Greets
Although the Sisters Tour got canceled, James managed to show up and meet fans for a fee. Attending these meet and greets with James was pegged at $500. This displeased some of his 'Sisters' who posted tweets saying, “OMG, your ‘tour’ ticket prices are absurd.”
“You’re charging like you’re a megastar like Lady Gaga or Beyonce. You do makeup on YouTube. You seem to be getting greedier every day,” said a fan. “James Charles has the audacity to charge $250-$500 for VIP tickets. Which you now his 10-15-year-old fans can’t afford on their own. Kinda gross.”
The Alicia Keys Drama
Moments after Alicia Keys announced her intention to launch a beauty brand, vlogger Manny Gutierrez and James were quick to share their thoughts. “Does anyone else get slightly irritated when celebs come out with entire makeup lines? Especially when those celebs don’t even wear makeup” posted Manny.
“People who do not wear makeup should not be coming out with makeup brands, but that’s just my opinion,” said James. Although neither of them made mention of Alicia directly, suspicions arose that they were targeting her specifically and her newly found business.
Clearing The Air About Celebrity Beauty Lines
Due to the criticism he received from fans about his subtweets, James posted “Yesterday I posted a subtweet about how I thought some celebrities shouldn’t launch makeup lines. It was about @aliciakeys. A few years ago, she announced that she no longer would wear makeup, so I was bothered.”
“Many celebrities come into the beauty space as a cash grab without any actual passion, then leave,” he tweeted. However, both James and Manny deleted their tweets and tendered apologies when Alicia came out to say she wasn’t launching a makeup line but rather, a skincare brand.
Of New Products & Cash Grabs
James is one of the most prominent beauty gurus on the internet, but just as he accused celebrities of creating beauty lines as a “cash grab,” his fans said the same about his second product. “James Charles collaborated with Morphe again, and the new palette is basically his old one in slightly changed shades,” said a fan.
“Same sh– with a mirror, how creative… #boybye,” wrote another. In response to the criticism, James posted on his twitter saying, “This collection isn’t some ‘crazy new launch that you guys HAVE to go buy.’ It’s for my fans and fellow artists who have supported me.”
Yet Another Drama, This Time With Logan Paul
YouTuber Logan Paul never fails to surprise his viewers with his variety of content, but when a video surfaced on the internet with someone who looked just like him, it sparked a lot of commentaries. The video showed two men hanging out intimately, and Logan eventually involved James in the online conversation about it.
After tweeting and making jokes about the video, Logan tweeted, “James Charles ur next.” James responded, “Sorry bro, I only go for straight guys.” This came after Charles was accused of manipulating men into having romantic relations with him, so some thought Logan’s tweet may not have been genuine.
Not Enough Cheese
As stated earlier, James’ net worth is about $22 million, as per Celebrity Networth. While that is a lot of money, it hasn’t stopped James from wanting more. “If you think about it, what are the real differences between typical ‘celebrities’ and big YouTubers?”, James posted.
“Both have talents, both have millions of people watching them, both do endorsement deals & can sell products, both get press,” he said. “Only major difference is the pay gap & respect. YouTubers bring the same assets to the table (if not more, because in most cases, we’re more easily accessible to our followers).”
Analyzing YouTube Payments
James further broke down the statistics from his YouTube payments. “6 ads on a 30 minute YouTube video equals roughly 4 minutes of ads (which you can usually skip, and which YouTube takes a HUGE % of), but a 30 minute TV show has 8 minutes of non-skippable ads and no one questions it,” he tweeted.
While his online spat with Tati Westbrook did cost him lots of followers, it might not be unconnected with James wanting more since the higher the subscribers, the higher the income. “Please stop complaining when YouTubers recognize their worth,” he posted on his Twitter.
The Situation With IT
When IT got released, Charles made public his eagerness to watch the movie. When he finally got his chance at the theatres, it didn’t take long for him to post his thoughts about the production. Charles logged on to his Twitter five minutes into the movie, calling it “awful”.
Finn Wolfhard, who was on the movie cast, promptly responded, stating that “Rule 1” was that people switched off their phones while at the movies. In response, James tweeted, “Why am I being attacked for saying I didn’t like a movie LMFAO y’all need to find something better to do with your lives.”
The Controversial Tutorial
Viewers were shocked when James uploaded a tutorial of the iconic makeup from It. Before sharing the video, he wrote, “Most ironic makeup tutorial in history coming next week.” His followers had mixed reactions, and many commented jabs like, “It’s funny how you made fun of the movie when it wasn’t even 10 minutes in but okay.”
The comments didn’t bother James one bit, and he posted, “I really love how half of the internet is angry over a makeup tutorial this is too funny.” He maintained that he didn’t enjoy the movie, but that the makeup was awesome, and that it inspired his video.
The Disturbing Makeover
Charles is no stranger to controversy, but one tutorial, in particular, rubbed a lot of viewers the wrong way. His mugshot makeover caused a lot of viewers to tweet things like, “I don’t understand why this would be a trend,” one fan tweeted. ‘I love James but it’s not fun having your face bruised and not being able to cover them up.”
“Maybe I’m being too sensitive, but this made me feel really uncomfortable,” wrote a fan on Twitter. In response, James tweeted, saying “I do understand that, but this dumb trend has nothing to do with domestic abuse. What about action movies… This is nothing new.”
Noah’s Dating Rumours
Noah Deck and James have featured together in a couple of videos, sparking rumors that the two had a romance brewing. A TikToker named Bryce Hall even uploaded a video named, “Noah Beck is dating James Charles,” which seemed to be the fire behind the smoke.
“I love James,” Deck said. However, he stated that the pair are “just two friends dancing and smiling.” Regardless of this, some of their fans still think the pair are in a relationship. Whatever the situation is, there’s no denying that these two have a strong bond and collaborate well on TikTok.
The Sister Squad
James has been calling his friends and followers ‘sisters’ for ages, but he also has an elite circle of friends called the ‘Sister Squad.’ Members include Emma Chamberlain, and Ethan, and Grayson Dolan. They met when James started commenting on the twins’ Instagram posts, so they messaged him to ask if he could do their Halloween makeup.
“We hit it off really quickly once they realized I’m not crazy,” said James. “We just have a lot of the same values, and they’ve been truly amazing friends of mine.” The group is popular for their collaborative videos on YouTube as well as other photos on social media.
The Dolan Twins Exit The Sister Squad
In a series of celebrity unfollowing, Sister Squad member Emma Chamberlain also joined in on the trend. Ethan and Nolan Grayson, who are also YouTube stars, took a step back from James too. Rumors took a wild turn after Jeffree alleged an inappropriate relationship between James and Grayson.
“I have to admit, bringing up Grayson Dolan was pretty clever,” James said. “In the height of all these allegations and stories going around, both of the twins unfollowed me, not wanting to be associated [with the scandal]… Nothing ever happened between us.”
Setting the Record Straight
The Dolan Twins decided to clarify the situation regarding James, in July 2020 and they did this by posting a video on their channel. “It wouldn’t be fair for us to talk about it unless everybody in the said squad had their opportunity to speak on it,” said Ethan.
“We haven’t actually talked to them in a while. I wouldn’t say that I’m confident that everybody is comfortable speaking about it,” he continued. Regardless of the Sisters’ split, Emma Chamberlain and the Dolan Twins stayed friends. There were also rumors of a romance between Emma and Ethan.
Emma And James Rekindle Their Friendship
Although Emma Chamberlain was one of the first members of the Sisters’ Squad, it didn’t stop her from unfollowing James during her 2019 social media sweep. However, it was only a temporary break as the pair were seen at a party this year and are back to following each other on the gram.
“Yeah, he’s great. I love him,” said Emma as she confirmed their rejuvenated friendship in an interview. She also showed public support for his latest butterfly merchandise release. Perhaps the Sisters Squad could be heading towards a reunion, who knows?
Finding YouTube’s Next Star
Reality TV has seen a rise in popularity in recent years, particularly those with competitive themes. This realization spurred James to start his own show on YouTube titled Instant Influencer. The show launched in April and is dedicated to finding the next celebrity beauty vlogger.
Although the show had just 4 episodes, viewership skyrocketed and reached a total of 65million people who were eager to discover the next YouTube makeup guru. There were six contestants who had to pass the tests of being great influencing and the art of makeovers.
Stand Out From The Crowd
Apart from discovering the next celebrity YouTube vlogger, James’ main aim to celebrate the beauty in the uniqueness of each contestant. This is obvious from the “Blend, Don’t Blend In,” which he uses to emphasize the importance of being yourself.
Although the six contestants brought hir A game and impressed Charles and his viewers, it was Kailin Chase who won the first edition of Instant Influencer. “They are an incredibly talented individual,” said James. Since her victory, her follower count has been on the rise and Kailin now has a tight bond with James.
“It’s So Important for Everyone to Feel Included”
“It’s amazing that this industry is going genderless, and I think it’s so important for everyone to feel included and welcome,” said James Charles. His fearlessness and determination helped him become the first Cover-Boy and build a strong brand even as a teenager.
Despite the controversies and many clashes with fellow celebrities, James is focused on creating products and ideas that he feels strongly about. “My biggest focus in creating my line is innovation and creating products that the beauty market hasn’t seen yet,” he said. Stay tuned, the future is ripe.
