We Couldn't Believe These Hollywood Celebrities Are Related!
| LAST UPDATE 10/17/2021
While some of these Hollywood relatives might be public knowledge to many, other familial relations have stayed hidden until recently! So it's time to take a peek into famous families we didn't know existed.
Yara Shahidi & Nasir Jones
To kick off our list of celebrity relatives is the well-known actress Yara Shahidi and rapper Nasir "Nas" Jones. That's right! These two famous people are, in fact, cousins! Little did she know, fame ran in the family.
In a Fuse interview, Shahidi admitted not realizing how famous Nas was when she was young. Instead, she was mainly focused on having fun as the flower girl at his wedding! Fast forward, and the two can exchange gig-booking success stories. Now, it's time to gear up as we share some more potentially shocking connections!
Rihanna, Rorrey, & Rajad Fenty
Rihanna is considered to be a musical genius that many of us know and love. While fans of her songs might know lyrics by heart, there is something we just learned about her! Did you know that RiRi has two younger brothers named Rorrey and Rajad? Well, if the answer is no, we'll backtrack a little bit.
The music mogul and beauty-line creator was born Robyn Rihanna Fenty as the first child of three to Ronald Fenty and Monica Braithwaite. Soon came her little brothers, and in no time, the world saw just how much these siblings resemble one another! From family gatherings to social media posts, this trio seems closer than ever!
Rashida & Quincy Jones
Rashida Jones was born in 1976 to musician and record producer Quincy Jones and the late actress Peggy Lipton. She is also the younger sister of model and actress Kidada Jones. Despite her parents splitting up when Rashida was a teen, she remained close with her dad and even created a film about him.
Jones transformed from actress to filmmaker, and among her many projects is Quincy, a documentary she co-wrote and directed about her father. When the movie hit Netflix, it gained wide recognition and won several awards, including her dad's heart. It seems their father-daughter relationship strengthened with each year!
Al Roker & Lenny Kravitz
When we learned that Al Roker, the weatherman, is related to Lenny Kravitz, the talented singer and actor, we had to do a double-take! As it turns out, Roker and Kravitz are second cousins, thanks to Roxie Roker being both Al's cousin and Lenny's mother.
That means that the two share overlapping family histories. "My mother was Roxie Roker, my grandfather, Albert Roker from the Bahamas," Kravitz said on TODAY in 2011. So, tracking their lineage from the clues given, the two men supposedly share the same great-great-grandfather.
Berry Gordy Jr. & Redfoo
On stage, he's known as LMFAO's Redfoo, but to his dad, Berry Gordy Jr., he is Stephen Kendal Gordy. That's right; the singer is the youngest son of the Motown Record founder! While this was a shocking revelation for us, you might know this second bit of family info...
The second member of LMFAO is Sky Blu, who turns out to be none other than Redfoo's nephew! Even though they may have drifted apart from their LMFAO days, Redfoo assured the Press Association, "He'll always be my nephew; I'll always be his uncle." How cool is this family triangle?!
Jaden, Willow, & Trey Smith
Before Will met Jada and had their musical kiddos, Jaden and Willow, Smith was married to Sheree Zampino. Together, they had a son named Willard Carroll "Trey" Smith III. Yes! This means there are actually three Smith kids, with Trey being the oldest.
Though Trey made some spotlight appearances as a young boy, he has since preferred to stay out of the spotlight throughout his life. However, the Smiths have made it abundantly clear over the years how important family time is to them, so when possible, Jaden, Willow, their older half-brother Trey, Jada, and Will get together.
Brandy Norwood & Snoop Dogg
Sound the alarms! Talented artists coming through! We're talking about first cousins Brandy and Snoop Dogg. "We never really told the world because we weren't trippin' off of that, but that's my family," Snoop admitted to MTV in a 2006 interview. They seemed cool about the whole situation, but we are definitely geeking out.
The cousins have posted about each other on their social media accounts on occasion and even teamed up to record a song together in 2009! Their track is called "Special" and also features Pharrell Williams. What a mix! With a few family ties under our belts, let's keep the ball rolling with a father-son duo...
Denzel & John David Washington
John David Washington is not only an actor and former football player, he's also the son of Oscar-winner Denzel Washington. As the eldest of four kids in his family, John David paid close attention to the roles his dad took on, and clearly, he got inspired!
Following in his father's footsteps, John David has since earned several note-worthy nominations himself. Director Christopher Nolan even described him as "Extraordinarily hard-working, very, very thoughtful, and very considerate." It seems like the successful actor gene was passed from father to son in all of its glory!
Timbaland & Pharrell
In an appearance where Timbaland was promoting his new mixtape on The Cruz Show, he revealed a little-known secret about some of his family ties. And, many fans were bouncing off the walls when they heard the news. The rapper and record producer shared that singer-songwriter Pharrell is his cousin!
With their family lineage supposedly tracing back to their grandmothers, Timbaland, known by his family as Timothy Zachery Mosley, confirmed, "We really family," on the talk show. Well, it turns out that this fam started in the music game together early on in the group S.B.I (Surrounded By Idiots), and the rest was history!
Tracee Ellis & Diana Ross
The well-known and widely famous actress, television host, singer, producer, and director, Tracee Ellis Ross, is none other than the daughter of the equally if not more famous singer and actress Diana Ross. Diana and Robert Ellis Silberstein certainly knew what they were doing when they brought this star into the world!
Not only does the mother-daughter duo take over the red carpet when together, but the ways they resemble each other could arguably go down in history as one of the most iconic duos in Hollywood. With their talented genes, fans around the globe believe that nothing can stop the Ross women!
Ludacris & Monica Denise Arnold
Cousins Christopher Bridges, AKA Ludacris, and Monica Denise Arnold (formerly Brown) are related thanks to her stepfather. Arnold's mother's second marriage was to Reverend Edward Best, who just so happens to be Ludacris's uncle. Monica began teaching herself to sing at a young age, which we're sure helped her bond with her cuz.
When Ludacris and Monica met and connected over their sky-high musical talents, they decided to partner up and release a song together in 2015 called "Ocean Skies." A family collaboration, how cool is that? We can guess that the family members have been bouncing ideas off of each other ever since!
Cory Booker & RuPaul
On the season 13 finale of RuPaul's Drag Race, Ru called special guest Cory Booker to the stage via video to announce the upcoming challenge. Yes, New Jersey State Senator Booker. "Now, to explain the rules of the Lip Sync Smackdown, please welcome United States Senator and my cousin, Cory Booker," the show host said.
"No, really, we are related," RuPaul reassured when his announcement was met with confusion. According to PBS' Finding Your Roots, the family members found out they were related on the show back in October 2020. In our minds, Booker said it best: "Thank God for my cousin RuPaul."
Gabrielle Union & Saweetie
When rumors started fluttering that actress Gabrielle Union and rapper Saweetie were related, the actress took to social media to confirm the big news. "Her father and I are 1st cousins. Her grandma is my aunt Joanne Glass...#FunFact." So, it's true! The talented women both come from the same family tree.
These cousins haven't necessarily made headlines together, but they have spent time having mini family gatherings at Union's pool here and there. In fact, according to their Insta posts, the pair got together with their mans at Gabrielle and hubby Dwayne Wade's pad not too long ago!
Sheila E & Nicole Richie
It's no secret that the one and only Lionel Richie adopted Nicole Richie. But the dots that not many people might connect is that her paternal aunt is the iconic percussionist and singer, Sheila E. The doting aunt even used the reality show The Simple Life to share exactly how she feels about her niece.
"I love my niece Nicole," Sheila gushed. And later on, a gorgeous photo of the family members was posted on the musician's Instagram account with the caption, "Me and my niece @nicolerichie love u beautiful." Seems like nothing can keep this family from forming the strongest of bonds!
Jason Momoa & Zoë Kravitz
Did you know that Aquaman, AKA Jason Momoa, is Zoë Kravitz's step-dad? That's right! Although Lisa Bonet was once married to music icon Lenny Kravitz (Zoë's birth father), she is now married to the very sultry Momoa, which actually made Zoë his first child.
Over the years of the two strengthening their dad-daughter relationship, Momoa has shown his softer side when talking about Zoë. "[She's] a beautiful human being," he told People. And, if that wasn't enough to make Bonet tear up, her hubby later told Rolling Stone their family nicknames include "papabear" and "rascal."
Stacey & Damon Dash
Although they may have had a falling out that now keeps them from speaking, we're hoping these family members can eventually patch things up! Yes, we're talking about Stacey Dash from Clueless and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, Damon Dash, who are actually first cousins.
Even though they helped lift each other up in the industry throughout the years, some more recent beef has kept them apart for some time. Apparently, when Stacy became wrapped up in online controversy, Damon distanced himself. But no one likes bad blood, so here's to them mending ties!
Steph & Seth Curry
The basketball genes certainly run in the Curry family! While Stephen "Steph" plays for the NBA's Golden State Warriors, his brother Seth, who's three years younger, plays for the Philadelphia 76ers. There's no denying that these men are talented when it comes to the court, but we wonder...what's it like at the dinner table?
Do they shoot free throws from the head of the table? Is the trashcan considered a three-point shot? Either way, we can only imagine that growing up in the Curry household was a time and a half, or..a court and a half...? Too corny? Okay, we'll move on.
Sofia & Lionel Richie
As previously said, Lionel Richie adopted his eldest daughter Nicole. But, he also has a biological daughter named Sofia! She was born to Lionel and his second wife, Diane Alexander, after Nicole's adoption. And, as close as they grew to be, it seems that some of Nicole's youngster antics led to Lionel being more strict with Sofia.
"My dad is more strict because of my sister...I feel like now he's on the preventative side," Sofia told Elle. "It's not like I'm doing anything bad, but he went through all that with Nicole, so he's just strict to prevent it from happening again." It sounds like the family tea has been brewing for years!
JWoww & Giovanna Marie LaValle
If you've seen or even heard of the show Jersey Shore starring Snooki and JWoww, it may come as little to no surprise that the gals are the best of friends. So, when Nicole Elizabeth "Snooki" LaVelle had her daughter, Giovanna Marie LaVelle, there was one person in mind that could be her godmother.
That's right! Jennifer Lynn "JWoww" Farley stepped up to the plate to be a secondary mama to her partner in crime's little girl. Based on their adorable outings featuring a total of 5 kids when Snooki and JWoww rally the troops, the photos resemble one big happy family!
Shaquille O’Neal & Bill Bellamy
Retired NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and actor/ stand-up comedian Bill Bellamy come from Newark, New Jersey. And, as fate would have it, they are second cousins! In an interview with The News & Observer, Bellamy gushed about Shaq, "He's a big, loving guy. You see how massive he is, but he's just a big Teddy Bear."
"We still do a lot of stuff together," he continued. "Our kids play basketball together. My son is 12, and his younger son is 15. Our families have a blast hanging out." From the sound of it, not only are Shaq and Bill close, but their kiddos are too – That must make for some good family gatherings!
Patti Labelle & Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey has a godmother, but the role wasn't assigned at her birth. Instead, Carey decided to ask someone special to fill the role for her. That's right, and in a simple sentence, Patti Labelle told Wendy Williams exactly what happened in 2010: "[Mariah] just asked me, and I said, 'Of course, you're my godchild.'"
"That's my baby," said Patti. Who knew it could be that simple to gain a family member! Not only had Mariah gained a godmother, but a professional music mentor as well. While Labelle and Carey may have a special relationship as a self-appointed family, one thing is for sure: they're just as close as can be.
Diana Ross & Ashlee Simpson
When we say that Diana Ross and Ashlee Simpson are family, it might cause some heads to turn, but when we say they're related via marriage, things begin to make a bit more sense. Well, when Ashlee marries musician and actor Evan Ross (Diana's son), they became mother-and-daughter-in-laws!
Following the flow of the family tree, this would make Ashlee the sister-in-law of Tracee Ellis Ross, along with the rest of the Simpson crew! From the family photos we've seen, it seems that this blended family has nothing but love for each other. Okay, here's another whammy...ready?
Migos (Quavo, Offset, & Takeoff)
There's no denying that Migos is a talented group of musicians that have found a way to get and keep fans on their feet show after show. And, the chemistry they have on stage simply can't be met. Is it because they're best friends? Maybe. Is it because they're family? Definitely!
It turns out that the high-energy group not only includes cousins Quavo and Offset but that the third member, Takeoff, is actually Offset's nephew! Not only did they come together to make music after becoming grown, but they were apparently raised together since childhood as well!
Dave, James, & Tom Franco
Many of us are aware that James and Dave Franco are handsome brothers that have rocked the Hollywood scene. But, we were nearly knocked off of our chairs when we found out that there's a third Franco brother! Everyone, meet Tom, the middle sibling (which is probably why his name was more foreign to us).
The acting bug stayed in the family and bit all 3 boys pretty hard because Tom is actually an actor too! The Francos all appeared on one big screen together in 2017's The Disaster Artist, where Dave and James played the lead roles, and Tom was a bit more hidden in the cast. Who knew?
Jared & Shannon Leto
They might not share the same eye color, but brothers Jared and Shannon Leto certainly share the same parents! The siblings even share the same passions for acting and music. In fact, they've appeared in a couple of titles together, such as 1994's My So-Called Life.
These brothers are just one of many examples of family connections in Hollywood. And, if you ask Shannon's opinion of working alongside his bro, he summarized it up saying: "It's great always knowing that there's someone having your back no matter what challenges arise."
Edwin & Aldis Hodge
Unknown to many, Edwin and Aldis Hodge were both raised in North Carolina, and they happen to have the same parents, Basil Hodge and Yolette Evangeline Richardson. That's right; Edwin is the older brother of Aldis Hodge! As they grew up, both went on to become actors and have since racked in many titles.
After Aldis became the star character in TNT's series, Leverage, the brothers appeared together in an episode. Aside from this exciting gig, Edwin soon made horror movie history as the only actor to appear in each of the first three Purge movies. Talk about another family full of talent!
Julia & Emma Roberts
Next up is the iconic family duo, Julia and Emma Roberts. For those who didn't know, these two are aunt and niece! Julia has been relatively active in Emma's life since she was a little girl. Since then, they have formed a special bond that keeps them as two peas in a pod to this day!
Both women became actresses and even starred in the 2010 movie Valentine's Day together. But, since they were in two different plot lines throughout the flick, they never shared the screen. When Emma was on the Queen Latifa Show in 2014, she admitted loving to dress up in her aunt's outfits while visiting her on set as a child.
Debbie Allen & Phylicia Rashad
While some may know this already, many might be surprised to learn that actresses Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad are sisters! Rashad became well known for her role as Clair Huxtable on The Cosby Show while her sis gained immense fame as Dr. Catherine Fox on Grey's Anatomy. This family sure has talent!
Now that we look closer at their smiles, it's easier for us to see their resemblance! While dancer and choreographer Debbie may be the younger sister in this family, there's no denying that these two have both matured to become well-accomplished women in the industry.
Chris, Liam & Luke Hemsworth
Attention! We pause this article to announce that Chris and Liam Hemsworth have a third brother that we never knew about! That's right; The Hunger Games and Thor stars have another sibling that has also entered the spotlight a time or two. We're shocked we didn't realize this earlier.
Introducing Luke Hemsworth! You may or may not recognize this face as Ashley Stubbs from HBO's Westworld. If there's one thing we know to be true, it's that we are eternally grateful to know all three of these ocean blue sets of eyes all hail from the same family tree.
Ice Cube & O'Shea Jackson Jr.
"Being on set with my dad - that's so cool. People always ask me if that made me nervous, but it's the same element when you're a kid - when your parents come in the auditorium for those school performances. It calms you," O'Shea Jackson Jr. said about his father: Ice Cube!
Yes, O'Shea is the eldest son of the well-known rapper Ice Cube and has even followed in his father's footsteps into the Hollywood world and music industry. In fact, Cube's son even portrayed him in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton. How cool is that?
Omar & Cuba Gooding, Jr.
This dynamic duo has raised each other up in the industry throughout the years. As the sons of entertainers, Omar and Cuba Gooding Jr. had great role models in getting their footing in Hollywood. Actually, it was when Omar was dropping off a script for his bro Cuba Jr. that talent scouts first discovered him.
You may recognize Omar from Nickelodeon's game show, Wild & Crazy Kids, or the '90s sitcom, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. His bro? He has appeared in everything from Boyz n the Hood to Daddy Daycare and Empire to American Horror Story: Roanoke. We can only imagine how lively their family reunions are!
Jonah Hill & Beanie Feldstein
If you happened to miss when Jonah Hill sported a sweatshirt embroidered with "Beanie's Brother" on the red carpet, or when he got "Hello, Beanie!" tattooed a couple of years back, it might be a good time to tell you that Hill and Beanie Feldstein are in fact, siblings.
The big bro got the tattoo when his sis performed Hello, Dolly on Broadway back in 2017. It's clear that this duo has a unique sibling relationship. From their social media tributes to each other, to the permanent ink Jonah added to his body, we're sure it's nothing but fun when these talents are together.
Steve & Wood Harris
Wood Harris studied acting and found his way to the big screen at a young age, but it was thanks to his older brother, Steve, showing him the way. Both siblings have appeared in a wide variety of TV shows and movies over the years, after both studying the topic in university.
The pair are the sons of seamstress Mattie and bus driver John Harris, and we can only imagine how proud these parents grew to be of their boys! While we aren't sure who pulls off the hat statement better, we can imagine that it's something they've argued about since childhood.
Luke & Owen Wilson
Now that we see them in the same photo, it becomes easier for us to realize that these two hilarious and talented actors are brothers! Both born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Luke and Owen Wilson both began their acting careers in the mid-'90s in the Wes Anderson film Bottle Rocket.
While they have both reached some of the top tiers of the Hollywood industry, like most siblings tend to have rivals, it's been proven by Celebrity Net Worth that, at least for now, older brother Owen might still have something to hold over Luke's head. A whopping $20M difference, to be exact.
Mabel McVey & Neneh Cherry
Did you know that the rising star singer Mabel Alabama-Pearl McVey is the youngest child of the Swedish singer Neneh Cherry? While like many mom and daughter relationships do, these two had some drama over the years, but all seemed to be mended in 2020.
Mabel won the BRIT Award for British Female Solo Artist in 2020 and made sure to give a special shout-out to her mama. She even hyped her up when referencing the fact that her role model happened to win two BRIT Awards at the same ceremony precisely 30 years prior!
Liev & Pablo Schreiber
While their physical resemblance might not be carbon copy-material, these two indeed have some features that would lead many to believe they're related. Well, those people would be correct because Liev & Pablo Schreiber are in fact, half-brothers!
The men share the same father, the late Tell Carroll Schreiber, who, in his prime, was also an actor. These brothers have a decade between them in age and didn't grow up together, but they have supported each other's careers over time. They even appeared in a film together, the 2004 revamp of The Manchurian Candidate.
Viola Davis & Mike Colter
Now, we can't blame you if you didn't know Mike Colter and Viola Davis were cousins because they didn't even know about their relation themselves until 2019! Looking back, Colter told Essence, "You know, honestly, we had never met, but our families have family reunions, and they talk about us."
Based on Viola's heartfelt birthday tribute to her cuz, it's clear that these two have spent time catching up on the years they spent unaware of their relation. We don't know about you, but the longer we look, the more similarities we see! We can only imagine that this family story will be told for years to come.
Vince Carter & Tracy McGrady
These smiling men not only grew up together but went through the same school system too! After graduating from high school, cousins Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady were drafted to the NBA. They played as teammates for the Toronto Raptors and conquered the court!
After playing for the Raptors, McGrady bounced around teams before playing for the San Antonio Spurs for a brief stint leading up to his 2013 retirement. His cousin Carter also swapped several courts and ended his career playing for the Atlanta Hawks from 2018-2020.
Macaulay Culkin & Paris Jackson
When Paris Jackson was growing up, she wasn't left home alone very often because her Godfather, Macaulay Culkin, was there to keep her company! And, the pair have grown to be so close throughout Jackson's life that they even got matching spoon tattoos together.
"I absolutely adore you," Paris posed on Instagram in a birthday tribute to her family member. Apparently, Culkin taught his Goddaughter how to dance the waltz and always knows how to make her laugh. We bet the two of them could even make a pretty good booby trap course too.
Da Brat & LisaRaye McCoy
Rap artist Da Brat AKA Shawntae Harris and actress LisaRaye McCoy may have been in the news in recent years over some spilled tea, but in the end, they made up and hugged it out. Why? Because they're half-sisters! Both women are fathered by the late David Ray McCoy, an entrepreneur who owned several of Chicago's clubs and hotels.
Many fans believe the ladies have grown up to resemble each other quite a bit. From strong cheekbones to fun hair colors, these two sure know how to work it. And, both of them have gone on to have wildly successful careers both in the music and entertainment industries.
Travie McCoy & Tyga
Gym Class Heroes' Travie McCoy and well-known rapper Tyga are family members. Yes, the two are first cousins! And, the pair have not only shared the family table but have joined each other on stage too! Travie once told Young Hollywood in an interview that he watched Tyga grow up.
McCoy also let it slip that for years, he's been telling Tyga to "Stop buying jewelry and invest in better things" since his immense rise to fame. Is this a lesson learned the hard from the older cousin or just some traditional family nagging out of love?
Dolly Parton & Miley Cyrus
In a 2019 interview with SiriumXM's Just Jenny, iconic country mogul Dolly Parton discussed her unique bond with a fellow musical talent: Miley Cyrus. After working with Cyrus' dad, Billy Ray, in the 1990s, Parton became close with the family and got to know and grow close with Miley.
"When Miley came along, I said, 'She's got to be my fairy goddaughter,'" Dolly gushed on the radio show. After appearing on Hannah Montana as Miley's Godmother, fans were shocked to find out that they share the same relation off-screen! Since then, they've appeared on stage together several times.
Janet Jackson & Stevie Wonder
Did you know that Janet Jackson and the rest of the Jackson 5 are related to Stevie Wonder? That's right! The family seemed to be chock-full of talented singers and musicians. In an interview, Janet said, "People don't know this one; Stevie is actually our cousin on my mother's side."
And, when awarding Wonder an induction to the NAACP Hall of Fame at the 2011 Awards ceremony, Janet again mentioned that Stevie was her cousin. With this information finally on the public platform, many fans began to believe that having a knack for rhythm was just a gene in this family!
Martin Lawrence & Christopher Martin
This next duo may have hinted at their family relation long before fans picked up on what they were putting down! Don't know what we're referencing? Well, we'll break it down. First, do you remember when Comedian Martin Lawrence and rapper Christoper Martin once played on-screen cousins in the movie House Party?
If yes, great. If not, that's okay. Here's the scoop: They may have played the scripted roles of family members, but it turns out that they're actually cousins in real life too! You read that right; these two didn't have to act much at all for this movie role! How awesome is that?
Barack Obama & Brad Pitt
We're excited to share New England Historic Genealogical Society's findings that none other than former President Barack Obama and actor Brad Pitt are related! They're 9th cousins, connected via an ancestor named Edwin Hickman. Through some digging, it was found that Obama is a direct descendant of Hickman's son, James.
While, on the other hand, Brad is related via Edwin's other son, Edwin Jr. Genealogist Christoper Child from the New England Historic Genealogical Society noted, "If people have ancestors in a common part of the country, they will be more likely to find connections - in Obama and Pitt's case the South."
Melissa Gorga & Ralph Macchio
Before Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga took to the stage of Andy Cohen's talk show, Watch What Happens Live, she confirmed swirling rumors on Twitter. A fan tweeted at Andy asking if he knew Gorga was related to Karate Kid's Ralph Macchio. In reply, Melissa tweeted back, "Yes, we are!!"
When The Huffington Post later asked Gorga to divulge more about her relation to Macchio, she confirmed, "We are like really distant cousins. Never even met him...We always said it when we were little. It's like through marriage, my aunt Rosile." What a small world! But wait, we aren't done yet.
Fantasia Barrino, K-CI, & JoJo
"Fantasia comes from a family of singers and musicians," reported CNN. As it turns out, Fantasia, and the musical duo, Jodeci, made up of brothers, K-CI and JoJo, are all first cousins via their fathers being brothers. And, based on their stage takeovers, it seems like the music in their souls has never paused!
Since making names for themselves as professional artists in the industry, this family has hit the stage together several times, including at the 2018 Essence Festival. But, performances aside, above all else, we can only imagine how amazing their at-home jam sessions are.
Beyoncé Knowles & Bianca Lawson
Most of us know that Queen B has a sis named Solange. But, did you know that she also has a step-sister? The Dawson's Creek and Save the Last Dance actress, Bianca Lawson? Well, here's the tea: Bianca's father, Richard Lawson, married Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles. Thus, Bianca came to be!
If one thing is for sure, it's that both Beyoncé and Bianca received the never-aging gene from their parents! And, we desperately need to know their skincare routine. All in all, we loved coming to these realizations alongside you. Now, it's time to do what you will with this Hollywood relatives' information!
Halle Berry & Sarah Palin
"You wanna know who I'm related to? Sarah Palin…She may be on the tree, but she 'AINT invited to the cookout," Halle Berry tweeted when she found out that Palin was her distant cousin. When asked about how they were related, Berry said: "Some twisted way."
From the sound of it, it doesn't seem like these two will be sharing a dinner table anytime soon. Palin hasn't seemed to comment on their relation to each other since this information came out, but based on Berry's comment, we don't really blame her! Maybe time will bring these two together soon.
Chad & Syleena Johnson
Former football star Chat Johnson is well-known for many things, including throwing a great spiral. But, did you know that he is the older half-brother of the talented singer, Syleena Johnson? Well, apparently, they share the same father, Syl Johnson, and we should have known…
In response to fans learning about their relationship to one another, Chad tweeted, "Yes, that's my sister; everybody knows that." Except, we didn't know, and according to replies to the tweet, not many others did either? Did you know these two came from the same family tree?
Maya Rudolph & Minnie Riperton
Seeing these two women side by side, it now makes sense to us that Maya Rudolph is the daughter of the talented singer Minnie Riperton! That's right; these two women have both racked up many accomplishments for themselves throughout the years, and it's no wonder why!
All we can think about is if Maya's hilarious sense of humor was something she learned from her mom or if that was something special that she developed all on her own. Either way, we are sure that the late Riperton would beam if she could see her little girl now.
Brody Jenner & Stormi Webster
Although lover-of-the-camera Brody Jenner told TMZ in 2018 that he "Didn't even know [his half-sister Kylie] was pregnant for the entire pregnancy," he admitted that he hoped to meet the little one in due time. Flash forward, and we realized that that makes Brody Stormi's half-uncle!
While we haven't heard if these two have formally been introduced yet, we're sure that they have been around the family table since the interview. Although Stormi and Brody may have a bit of distant relation, there's no denying that their strong brows don't give it away that they share some genes!
Baron Davis & Spike Lee
Basketball player Baron Davis and film producer Spike Lee might look pretty similar when they wear their hats and glasses, but has anyone ever stopped to think why? Well, according to Lee's Twitter, "Baron and I are 2nd cousins - Share Alabama roots."
This makes sense that the on-the-court star took some lessons from his family member and dipped his toes into movie production as well. Now, we're left wondering if the opposite will occur with Spike shooting some free throws in the future. We'll have to keep an eye on these two.
Paris Hilton & Marilyn Monroe
While Paris Hilton has undoubtedly made her way onto many Hollywood platforms throughout the years, this discovery might just take the cake! In a 2020 Cosmopolitan interview, Hilton shared some exciting news about some of her (very) famous relatives.
"My mom just did one of those 23andMe DNA kits, and I am related to Marilyn Monroe and Queen Elizabeth," Hilton gushed. Can you believe it? Paris is related to not only British Royalty but to the queen of perfectly flying skirts too! We wonder if she ever dressed up as the latter for Halloween.
Nia Long & Sommore
Even though Sommore, AKA Lori Ann Rambough, said that she and Nia Long share the same dad, they were "Not necessarily sisters." This may sound harsh, but she followed up with the fact that the women didn't grow up in the same home, so it's a bit harder to feel that sibling relationship.
However, Nia and Sommore did come together later in life to mourn the loss of their father, poet, and teacher, Doughtry "Doc" Long. In the years after, the sisters grew closer, with Nia even posting a pic on social media with her new-found BFF saying that she was "The funny one in the family."
