One of the best highlights coming out of Sunday’s NBA battle between the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers had nothing to do with the game itself. Rather, Jay-Z was spotted hilariously pulling away from some dude who tried to put his arm around Jay’s shoulder.
Jay was sitting courtside with 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy as LeBron James and the Lakers took down the Clippers, 112-103. ‘Bron balled out and finished with a near triple-double: 28 points, 9 assists and 7 boards.
As the second half was about to get underway, though, a man tried to get a picture with Jay-Z and made the mistake of trying to act like they were tight by getting close with the Brooklyn-bred artist. Jay quickly moved out of the way, making for a hilarious clip.

My man has to know better! Especially with the coronavirus going around. 😳😂
Roddy Ricch agreed that putting your arm around someone you don’t know isn’t the move.
This isn’t the first time Jay has gone viral while watching LeBron. Back in 2014, he and Beyoncé had a pretty funny reaction to a twisting fadeaway jumper that King James swooshed.
Blue also demanded her fair share of attention at the Lakers game. In the clip below, you can see her chatting with LeBron and her dad while rocking a dope denim jacket that reads “BLUE IS MY NAME” on the back. It sounds like ‘Bron makes some sort of promise to Blue, though it’s unclear exactly what was said.
