DaBaby is being summoned by fellow North Carolina rapper Cam Coldheart, who wants revenge for the infamous Louis Vuitton store smackdown he took. 😂
Ever since he walked around SXSW in a diaper, DaBaby has developed a reputation for his off-the-stage antics. Another one of these moments, albeit an unplanned one, came exactly a year ago today when he got into a fight with Coldheart in the mall.
Now, Coldheart is challenging DaBaby and several members of the South Coast Music Group (SCMG) label to a rematch.
"A whole year later, I want to make this known – from then to now, anybody know me, I been on 10, that I will scrap any of these n****s," he said around the 55-second mark of the clip. "[The DaBaby fight] went too far in the limelight, that's why n****s ain't been shot."
According to Coldheart, he's even been mixing in some practice by beating up someone who tried to clown him at a local club.
The initial fight that Coldheart is salty about happened in May 2019 when he ran into DaBaby at a Louis Vuitton store. After Coldheart provoked DaBaby with a few verbal disses, the two threw hands and DaBaby knocked him out so hard that his pants fell off.
DaBaby has maintained that he was the one who threw the punches, but Coldheart has claimed several times since that two of Baby's security guards were the ones really responsible. This attitude was no different in his latest Instagram prompt.
"No guns, fight! Y’all n****s know y’all can’t beat me. That’s why you had to set me up, hire security, and put the monster behind you to jump on me," he said. "None of these n****s can see me. I’m the real gorilla around this motherfucker. Here go my challenge on the line, n***a! Any of them n****s, fight me!"
Following their scrap, DaBaby mocked Coldheart by recreating the situation for his "Carpet Burn" music video, throwing on a dread wig and all.
DaBaby nor any of his SCMG label mates have responded at the time this piece was published.
