Was Jetsonmade trying to finesse some Bitcoin using his stash of Playboi Carti music? 🤑

South Carolina producer Jetsonmade, who's most known for cheffing the beats for DaBaby's "Suge" and, more recently, Jack Harlow's "WHATS POPPIN," has been accused of entertaining an offer of $17,000 in Bitcoin for unreleased Carti songs.

The rumor started to gain traction after a video surfaced in which Jetsonmade appears to be cautiously negotiating with a potential buyer over FaceTime about a pair of tracks.

While he doesn't have the first file of interest, the 23-year-old claims to have access to the second leak produced by Pi'erre Bourne called "Place."

After asking a few muffled questions about the payment, the person behind the camera seems to get a little frustrated. “Bruh, I thought you wanted money?" he asks. "Bro, I’m literally about to pay you money for songs that are never dropping. So, you’ll never get money from them dropping.”

Jetsonmade then responds, “I’mma call you back in two minutes, bruh.”

Later, in an Instagram Story including a screenshot of his brief conversation with the fan, Jetsonmade claimed he was "definitely trolling" and added, “dat video y’all keep posting is CAP.”

In typical fashion, Carti has remained silent about the situation. But one of his collaborators, an artist who goes by Ken Car$on, tweeted a few thoughts on the matter.

"thanks jetson , we were actually done," he wrote, likely (and hopefully) referencing Carti's long-awaited sophomore album, Whole Lotta Red. He also poked fun at Jetsonmade's beat tag: "o lord jetson sold another one."

Carti's songs have often been subject to significant leaks, an issue that has likely contributed to the delay of WLR.

Whether or not he was seriously trying to make a sale, it makes sense that Jetsonmade would have the keys to at least part of Playboi's vault, as he was one of the producers behind Carti's latest single, "@ MEH," which dropped in April.
