Drake Makes Rising Alabama Artist Yung Bleu’s Day by Offering Him a Verse

It’s tough enough for major rappers to collect a Drake feature let alone rising artists cultivating a fanbase.

Yet Yung Bleu was able to catch the Six God’s attention and interest via “You’re Mines Still,” so much so that Drizzy let him know that he wants to record a guest verse for the track.

The 26-year-old crooner hailing from Alabama shared a screenshot of a series of Instagram DMs he exchanged with Drake after the latter reached out and suggested, “Let’s do that remix.” He added, “I just need a version of that song with a open verse.”

An excited Bleu replied, “Broooooo !!! Wtff ! Helll yea,” and confirmed he was going to send him the right audio stems.

In the caption, Bleu then announced that the “Bleu Vandross x THE BOY” remix would be dropping this Friday, Oct. 16.

Days earlier, a fan tweeted that Drake had just joined Yung Bleu’s more than 841k Instagram followers and liked one of his photos. They claimed that Bleu’s latest EP, Love Scars: The 5 Stages Of Emotions, “did the job bro.” They continued, “I wanna see that collab the world gone wake up.”

Bleu, who used to be signed to Boosie’s Badazz Music Syndicate, acknowledged the virtual co-sign with an intrigued emoji.

On Sunday, 13 days ahead of his 34th birthday this coming Oct. 24, Drake celebrated Adonis aka “Young Stunna” turning three years old with big smiles and balloons.
