Rolling Loud hosted its star-studded Loud Stream event this past Halloween weekend where budding Atlanta act Mario Judah offered a spirited performance of one of the best songs of 2020 in "Rockstar."
There's only one problem: DaBaby and Roddy Ricch made that song, not Judah. Comedian Druski, who was also interviewing artists in between sets, put things plainly. "That is not DaBaby," he said in an Instagram Story.
DaBaby then reposted the clip with a laugh and commented, "Man who dis n***a is at Rolling Loud performing my song dawg?" Maybe Judah was just trying to embrace the lifestyle – his bio on IG claims, "im a rockstar."
The 21-year-old also has his own croon-heavy remix of "Rockstar" using the same cover art from Baby's album 'BLAME IT ON BABY.' It's his second-most-streamed song on Spotify.
"Just talked to my mama, she hit me on FaceTime just to check up on me and my brother / I'm really the baby, she know that her youngest son was always guaranteed to get the money / She know that her baby boy was always guaranteed to get the loot / She know what I do, she know 'fore I run from a n***a, I'ma pull it out and shoot," he sings.
Judah and Druski continued making highlights throughout the night, including a hilarious interview in which Druski asks his new friend about one of his more questionable lyrical approaches. "Im Addressing REAL ISSUES," Druski captioned the clip.
Other memorable performances came from Trippie Redd, Gunna, Pi'erre Bourne, and 654AR, who's squeaky, high-pitched delivery is like nothing you've ever heard or seen.
