For the upcoming Halloween weekend, you could be dressing up as Beyoncé. The iconic singer and entrepreneur will be releasing the second installment of her Ivy Park x Adidas collaboration on Friday, Oct. 30.
"DRIP 2 October 30," she wrote on Instagram, next to an image of a valley filled with orange flowers behind the words, "THIS IS MY PARK."
Understandably, some fans in the comments section thought the post could be hinting at new music. But seeing reactions from the Beyhive on Twitter, an Ivy Park drop is seemingly the next best thing.
Speaking about the line when it was originally announced, Bey said, "My team has worked hard with the adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favorite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly."
Back near the beginning of the year, the first Ivy Park drop based on an orange and burgundy color palette and consisting of athleisure items like track jackets and pants, cycling shorts, and sneakers sold out less than a day after pre-ordering went live. Prices ranged from $25 to $170.
A first look at a Hi-Res Yellow UltraBoost in the latest selection suggests the theme this time around could incorporate more of a neon feel.
How'd we get here? Bey launched Ivy Park with help from Topshop in 2014 before splitting from the company a few years later and assuming total ownership of her brand. Then, she revealed her partnership with Adidas, which included the fancy new title of creative partner.
