Mick Fleetwood Offers Own Version of Viral Fleetwood Mac “Dreams” TikTok

entertainment /

Fleetwood Mac co-founder and drummer Mick Fleetwood has recreated the viral TikTok of Nathan Apodaca aka @420doggface208 blissfully cruising along to the band’s 1977 jam “Dreams.”

If you haven’t seen the original clip that’s tallied almost 22 million views, please feel free to take a moment and smile with Apodaca as he sips some Cran-Raspberry juice.

Just like the video suggests, Apodaca is soaking up the moment and embracing his life’s latest turn.

He’s reportedly already raised over $10,000 in donations to fund his Doggface merch line. He’s also using some of that money to upgrade his RV residence. (Inking a brand partnership is the long-term goal, though.)

Originally appearing on Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours album, the former No. 1 track on the Hot 100 has taken on a new life 43 years after its release, as streams have jumped by the hundreds of thousands. When this article was published, it was sitting at the No. 65 slot on the Spotify Top 200 chart with nearly 1.45 million daily streams.

Twitter user @DrewFrogger played a role in Apodaca’s virality, posting a screen recording that’s been viewed more than 23 million times. The Twitter account for Fleetwood Mac had to drop a co-sign: “We love this!”

It’s only right that 73-year-old Mick Fleetwood creates a TikTok account solely to upload his own relaxed rendition. Whether or not he’s really skateboarding, this is the epitome of a timeline cleanse.

“Dreams and Cranberry just hits different,” the caption reads. Big facts!
